Just some stuffff I don’t know where to put anywhere else..future blog ideas, perhaps..
Things I am not fond of-
pot holes, rockslides, people who don’t wear seatbelts, cigarettes, warm bowling shoes, Daylight Savings Time, people who chew food with their mouth open , lice, strange children with boogers on their fingers (long story), Walmart, plastic wrap, those people who come with religious pamphlets on Saturdays, phone surveys, narcissistic people,
Things I am fond of-
dragonflies, sudoku puzzles, The Sunday paper, Coca-Cola, wearing a sweatshirt with shorts, fall weather, WVU football, the Marcellus Shale $$$, Morgantown, WV, quilts, weather..I’m a weather dork, Facebook, I love looking at atlases, and get a little too excited when I teach about the Revolutionary War.
I like cats. I have one, Whiskers, who is 16 years old. She is actually my daughter’s cat, but she doesn’t know that. She’s a cat.
I like collections. I have a pez collection, a antique duck decoy collection, silver teapots, old letter openers, old swizzle sticks, matchbooks, things with faces on them, and just some weird shit.
I want to travel. I finally got my passport. People wondered why I didn’t visit my daughter in Japan. Well, I didn’t want to starve. I flew to Cancun in June 2011, so I did get a stamp in my passport. Next up, solo train travel across Canada.
I am very picky. I hate green beans, peas are smooshy and gross, lima beans, coconut, cauliflower, fish like cod, flounder and goldfish, egg nog, tapioca,
I like pumpkin pie (my favorite, but it has to be Libby’s), pasta, homemade bread, Tootsie Rolls, Cream chicken on biscuit, french fries (crinkle kind)
My favorite smells- Hazelnut cream candles (from Walmart), Vicks Vapor Rub, skunk (yeah, skunk), freshly cut grass (onion or garlic grass), homemade bread, cinnamon,
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, because I love fall..I also love Halloween. I hate Valentine’s Day with a passion.
If I had to get a dog, I would own a Jack Russell Terrier. Seems his name should be Jack. Or Russell. But not Terrier.
My least favorite states-New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I wouldn’t mind moving to Oregon, or where the weather is 70 degrees all year round. I hate hot and I hate cold.

I sure needed a “funny” today because the tooth fairy is officially a mean old witch with her wand shoved under my back molar, poking holes at the nerves hiding under there…I’m not happy. I’m a tooth pain weenie. Thank you for liking my blog, too. I just got started doing this because I was pestered by friends and family. Now, I’m writing a book. Go figure. I don’t know much about setting up shop in WP, so my blog looks sorta wimpy. I get a ton of my FB friends reading it, but not too many subscribers or people who just have nothing better to do than find me in here somewhere. Thanks again! I, too, hate warm bowling shoes….

You sound like you could be my sister…..in which I don’t have one… I subscribed to your blog so I won’t miss another writing….thanks for helping us other bloggers out here when we have brain freezes and don’t know what to write. I like reliving memories!

That is such a nice compliment. Thank you so much. Well, I am adopted..lol I am having a blast reliving the memories. I also thought that my kids will have a piece of me to pass on to their kids when I am gone. They told me they are learning a lot about me from my blogging..lol..I don’t know if that is good or bad..lol
Have a great day!
